Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in international development, business, agriculture, public administration, economics, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 25 years in development work, with experience in crisis environments similar to Somalia.
- Extensive experience in program development and implementation.
- Proven ability to work with diverse teams and facilitate consultations.
- Familiarity with USG (or similar) principles, policies, and strategies.
- Strong skills in interagency and donor coordination.
- Experience working with high-level USG leadership.
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of USG policies and priorities.
- Strong skills in developing and implementing assistance programs.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate complex data.
- Leadership skills for meetings and presentations with senior stakeholders.
- Experience living and working in fast-paced, crisis environments like Somalia.
